When you do shit solely for profit, that is what you get: compromised ethics.

DO you have these heroes for hire issues, Xantes?

I got the WWH graphic novel and the first one. I missed the one where they goto the Savage Land.

That's what I said, only reason you work for Ironman is for money.

Thus, in comics, money is the root of all blah blah. The Heroes For Hire concept is flawed. Just be a hero, like Colleen Wing said.

Yeah, but you back it up by your ethics. Such as okay, take money so you can go kill Charles Manson, that seems reasonable and you can ethics do do so. Do you take money to kill a random 4 year old girl walking home from the park? Your ethics mght say no.

Work for law enforcement, maybe. Work for Tony Stark, that's just dirty money.

When you pay people to do something, you do get corruption and abuse of power, but when people are asked to do something for free, you gety lazy fucks. I think the best solutin is when well-to-do people put on costumes and punch rapists in the face.

No disrespect to any rapists.

BTW, I read all of the new Heroes for Hire and I loved it. I wish I could see the surviving team somewhere. I know Paladin's ass showed up.

Why would paying people to do a job lead to corruption?

What's wrong with people doing things for free? Sometimes they get the job done.
