Oops, I shouldn't post when I'm drunk. I posted this the wrong place.

You guys want to destroy affirmative action? So you guys are white using black face? Or are you stating that racism is dead?

What's wrong with sitdown centers? You can relax from shopping, having a conversation with friends or co-worker outside the work area, eat your lunch away from the busy restaurants, watch the hustle and bustle of the city. They're fun.

TCM is real.

Yeah, I saw you posted the race baiting stuff in the wrong place. But I ignored it, hoping it would go away. You "Post While Intoxicated"? That explains a lot.

>>You guys want to destroy affirmative action? Or are you stating that racism is dead?>>

Nope, but you can't gain freedom and independence by asking for handouts. The black community is a mess. handouts aren't the way out, if you are a person with an able body and mind.

>>TCM is real.>>

I know he is real, I talked him. Oh, you mean to say his whole sociopath-child-fucker persona is real?

TCM is way to liberal to be a sociopath. He also gets angry at wrong doers and moral hypocrites sometimes on these shows. For example in the upcoming THOOM!Thanksgiving special, he sides with the "artistic" Verve and against the "greedy" Mick Jagger and gang. A sociopath might not care about such things.

Child fucker? I had to send TCM some materials to review on the show a while back. He gave me his address and presumably real first name and the first initial of his last name.

While there are plenty of "sex offenders" (mostly people convicted of sexual battery) around Philly, there is only one on TCM's street, and not at the address given to me. In fact there is only one child fucker in TCM's hood. He is on the same street a couple of blocks away. But he's a black man. There's a rapist around the corner, and he is also black. One thing I know about TCM, he ain't black. His whiteness shines through on PCX.

In fact none of the sex offenders in TCM's immediate area have the same first name with that last name initial.

In a more disturbing note, The National Sex Offender Website lists
one guy with the same first name and and last name with intial TCM gave me, living in the same zipcode. (address not given) But his first name is very common, so it means nothing...right?

One last thing the Family Watchdog site breaks sex offenders down into four categories:

OFFENSES AGAINST CHILDREN

SEXUAL BATTERY

RAPE

OTHER

I was wondering what the difference was between rape and sexual battery:

Sexual battery is an unwanted form of contact with an intimate part of the body that is made for purposes of sexual arousal, sexual gratification or sexual abuse. Sexual battery may occur whether the victim is clothed or not. It is a crime, which varies by state laws, so local laws should be consulted.

Most of the sex offenders are labeled sexual batterers.

This is all assuming TCM gave me his real address. His initials are two of the letters from TCM, by the way.

Affirmative action is not asking for handouts, it's to ensure that minorities are getting a fair shake. Until affirmative action was used there were barely any females and blacks as police officers. Even today affirmative action has to be used because there is still the old white boy system in place. White guys with lesser experience get promoted before the black guys or females because the higher ups "like" them. Alot of that happened while Kerik and Giuliani were here.

It's not time to yell, "Free at last! Free at last! God oh mighty, I'm free at last!"

I've done stuff yet I have no criminal record. I've never been caught or reported. Just because they are registered doesn't mean there aren't more out there. It just means they were the dumb ones who got caught. Had this conversation with a few cops and basically it seems that most criminals are stupid, but there are a few out there who do commit crimes and are never caught because they did think out their crimes.

And what do you know about what a sociopath's care about? Gacy worked on his local democratic party. Ted Bundy volunteered for a Seattle suicide hotline and worked for the republican party.

Yeah, Tim's just working off a list that might as well be called "The ten percent of pedos and such dumb enough to actually have been caught".

>>It's not time to yell, "Free at last! Free at last! God oh mighty, I'm free at last!">>

I'd never yell that, or "We Shall Overcome." But I can imagine you holding hands with a bunch of hippies, marching to that song.

If it's not time to yell, "Free at last!", then why do you believe affirmative action is useless?

>>This is only the 3rd most horrible podcast appearance I've made. >>

I liked this show. You were 1,000x better than Xantes. LOL. Just kidding. But seriously, you were great on this show. I'd like to do a show with you and Courtney or You and T-Mafia.

>>You know where Affirmative Action works? It works on horrible TV sitcoms and dramas where they throw a black person in for every 7 white characters.>>

It doesn't work there either.

Yeah, if I do a podcast with Courtney, I'm gonna have to find a symbiote costume to bond with. It might get crazy.

Well, AA works in as far as it gets black people on TV. It doesn't work because the show most likely sucks and the black people don't have great roles anyway. Gee, I wonder what AA did for Denzel Washington.

"I have no way of knowing whether I was a beneficiary of affirmative action either in my admission to Harvard or my initial election to the Review. If I was, then I certainly am not ashamed of the fact, for I would argue that affirmative action is important precisely because those who benefit typically rise to the challenge when given an opportunity.” -Barack Obama.

He admits he might have. Given the time probably.

I work for the city and I have seen it force the upper white management to take in minorities that they would been have skimmed over to promote more of their white ilk. Of course it's not perfect because it does promote some under qualified individuals but that at times it seems more like someone higher up is putting the dumb blackie in charge to "prove" it doesn't work, instead of putting the smart guy who can in place.

Anonymous said...

Good, Xantes, you brought up a point where I have the problem with AA. I don't want people to be forced to accept me as one of their own. I don't want to be part of the quota: I want to be part of the qualified people.

Thoom said...

>>of course it's not perfect because it does promote some under qualified individuals>>

The obstetrician who delivered my cousin's baby was a black man. The family knew the guy. He was a beneficiary of AA (getting into school, getting the job.)

Cousin had trouble delivering the baby. Doctor tried to force the child out with forceps. The baby {my little cousin) is a quadriplegic.

XantesFire said...

Yes, but if your qualified and they rather not accept you because you're black then how do you feel? That's what affirmative action is suppose to take care of. How many jobs do you see minorities doing that wouldn't have been open to them if not for affirmative action? As far as I understand it, that's what enable minorities to become firefighters, police and transit workers in NYC.

So you're saying black people aren't qualified to be doctors? Bold statement there. Or that a white doctor would have been better?

Thoom said...

So you're saying black people aren't qualified to be doctors?

A doctor promoted solely by race quotas and, as you pointed out anger by white administrators at being forced to put minorities and women through these programs NOT minorties put through programs because they excel and have a naturl talent that can't be refuted (like Doc Charles Drew).

But you knew what i was saying and instead made an incendiary comment because you were backed into a corner. Just like downcast. Which is why I dont answer most of your comments and have downcast on the show less often.

You guys just want an "argument" (conflict) but have no real "argument" (ammo). If you are gonna do that, at least be funny and engaging, like T-Mafia.

If someone doesn't hire me because of my race or my differences, that's their fucking loss. Every company's not staffed by racists, so if I don't get in at company 1, then I will go to company 2 and make them better. Fuck 'em!

Thoom, while AA may have led to that kid being a quadriplegic, I think that hiring shitty doctors would still happen regardless of AA. I always read and hear about these crackpot doctors doing all sorts of malpractice. Look at MJ's doctor, pumping him with drugs until he died.

Maybe that black doctor would have ended up at a shittier job without AA, thus saving a kid from being crippled for life. Still, I would have to say that the guy's not qualified at all, so he shouldn't have a job no matter what his racial background is.

Anonymous said...

Hee hee! I knew something was going down with you and Downcast! I listened to the most recent podcast, and it looks like your Dick Grasyon has turned into a Damian Wayne.

Maybe you should just talk movies with the kid. Or ban him until he actually read the site comments.

XantesFire said...

No, I said it as such to point out what possible conclusions you can get from your statement. But Affirmative action is not to place unqualified people into positions they shouldn't be in. It's to give other minorities with equal qualities a chance. Unfortunately in your cousin's case it produced an unqualified doctor, but that happens even without affirmative action. It just happens that his was black.

Do you think malpractice insurance is only given to black doctors?

You guys admit there is a racial barrier. That's what AA is suppose to destroy. Decades ago only cop you saw were white. White cops in charge, white management did the hiring. They didn't hire minorities because they didn't know them and/or like them and/or wanted them. AA opened that door.

That's what AA is suppose to do , just open doors for minorities to get a chance to try. It's not suppose to take your test for you. It's not suppose to explain the job for you either.

Anonymous said...

No! Education and learning to be accepting of other people who are different from you is what works, not being mandated to help people just in case you wouldn't. AA isn't the best idea. The government needs to go back to the drawing board.

XantesFire said...

And what is done when minorities aren't given to access to proper learning and education? Or when institutions of higher learning don't accept minorities. Or when the government itself bars minorities from attending institutions of higher learning? Or when they stop even the creation of institutions of higher learning with minorities in mind?
