The first "comic with issues" was an Archie story dealing with Occupy
Wall Street. The "issue" here is a lot heavier in subject and story
content. It's Rick Veitch's one-shot "The Big Lie". The story deals with
a woman who discovers time travel and goes back a decade to prevent the
terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and save her husband's
life. The story is an obvious platform for Veitch's "Truther" stance.
Truthers believe 9/11 was more than a terrorist attack, but most likely
an "inside job".
