I was thinking the Hulk didn't want to give blood to Jim Wilson cause besides the She-Hulk anyone else who received his blood turned into crazy monsters.

Thought that scene with Betty and the caller praying was to show how worthless prayer is.

Actually I wonder how dellusional a person is to live in a world where gods walk the earth, aliens visitors try to destroy the world, demons of all types take souls or etc, still believe in a biblical god? You have evidence of roman/greek, norse, incas, etc, but no proof of the biblical.

While writing Ghost Rider back in the 70s, Tony Isabella actually wanted to feature Jeebus as a supporting character and was basically told, "Uh...no."

OK, now I want to see Ghost Rider chasing down the guilty with Jesus in a sidecar. Picturing the Jesus from Battle Pope.

No, they haven't. A "monster" is more than a misshapen mutant. A monster is a horrible, evil or indifferent being who doesn't care about anyone or anything and will destroy people without remorse.

The Hulk himself was a monster at times, but I can't think of any character that recieved his blood and became a rampaging monster. Even the Hulk himself "never killed anyone". The Hulk Mythos is that deep down if you're good, you can control the monster. You don't become a monster.

For the record, the Abomination is not a product of Hulk's blood. He's a product of gamma radiation. But he is a monster because he's a psychopath.

I can't remember what issues of the Hulk they were but there are a few stories where people take his blood and use it. One I remember best is a guy injects himself with the Hulk's blood and turns into a greenish sludge that goes around eating everything, Hulk electrocutes it. Another one I am not sure of is guy turns into rampaging hulk that keeps swelling up until he burst. I think both stories were written in the 70's.

Which makes me think it's even more incredible that knowing this Banner would give his blood to Jennifer in 1980.

But then, using Amadeus Cho's logic that Banner is always thinking, Banner could have realized that Jennifer was biologically similar enough that the blood would turn her into a "stable" hulk like him and not into something truly hideous. And since she wasn't abused as a child she wouldn't have the anger he does.

And maybe Banner didn't want a Fabulous Hulk out there. "Yoo-hoo! Fabulous Hulk smashing!"

Hey, they ever do a What if...? Banner wasn't a child abuse victim issue?

Not that I know of. Which is good, 'cause who wants to read about a non-angry Hulk? Though Warren Ellis recently revealed/retconned that all the "gamma-changed" secretly have that same destructive rage, not just the traumatized/mentally disturbed Banner.

And I can imagine Jim starring in The Fabulous Hulk ("Now you've done it, girlfriend. Hulk totally smash you now.") They'd make him turn pink instead of green and instead of General Ross, his nemesis would be Fred Phelps.

Maybe Doc Samson's already the gay Hulk. Sensitive dude becomes empowered and immediately gets a chick's hairdo and puts on a tight shirt. Have we ever seen him with a woman?

Jim wasn't gay.

I really hate the retcon shit that goes on even more and more these days. From writer to writer it changes. One writer kills a character, then the next writer comes along and says that was my favorite character and suddenly he's back.

"all the "gamma-changed" secretly have that same destructive rage, not just the traumatized/mentally disturbed Banner."
Warren, why? Guess that means all the gamma dogs were abused as pups too.
