What's wrong with "simulated" child porn? It's not real. Banning "simulated" childporn, you might as well ban "simulated" killing, or "simulated" explosions. Is it cause you believe if you see it you'll be inspired to do it?

Early in the history of films they used to censor dynamiting locomotives because some people believed it would inspire young boys to blow-up trains. I don't remember any friday the thirteens being especially bloody.

Mike Turner sucked but he didn't deserve death. Rob Liefeld does. Proof that there is no god.

If you are buying child porn, you are doing it. If child porn is allowed in illustrated forms, someone will get buck wild and draw a straight up child fucking magazine. Now imagine the group of guys who come into the store and buy the magazine every month.

This is almost as bad as having a real child porn magazine (aside from the child "models")

What kind of pervert seller wants illustrated child porn in their store? Also, since the magazine is banned, this eliminates the problem of the poor clerk having to sell child porn to perverts who are obviously gonna whack it to the images of young children getting raped. Nasty.

I'm not for the banning of illustrated drawings of children in sexual situations. It's fake, it doesn't hurt anyone more than GTA4 or The Dark Knight does, which is not at all. Still, when we're talking about who's into those illustrations, I don't want to hear one of these consumers tell me that they don't have some interest in kids when they "enjoy" these drawings and paintings of underage kids having sex. I don't believe one of those motherfuckers. If you're a loli fapper, just be proud about your weird shit.

I don't totally believe in "slippery slope," but if you're not allowed to draw socially unacceptable depictions, then why is, say, The Boys, allowed to be printed? Just because loli drawings are more fucked up, The Boys is still pretty fucked up shit.

Alright, enough of that. I haven't read the boys past issue 6, because I'd like to buy the trades. Now that I hear about Mother's Milk and what his name might relate to, I think T Mafia is close to what the truth is.

I think that the serum that The Boys use to gain their powers has something to do with "Momma" and Mother's Milk is some kind of middleman or conduit to get the serum.

I didn't care about hearing Michael Turner dying one way or another. To me his artwork didn't piss me off, but it didn't excite me either. He was bland, and it sucks to die young.

And yet, nonetheless legal. Darn that pesky First Amendment!

Hmmm. As always, everything starts with the Black Man, but he only gets third billing.

This isn't a "slippery slope", because if you are buying child porn, you've already slipped down the slope. If you buy it, this means you are already a child fucker (or want to fuck a child. And no one stays chaste forever. The only way the production and sale of this kind of comic book can be condoned is if it is part of a sting operation. The people who buy it need to get their homes searched. How do we avoid this gestapo action? By keeping those child porn mags out of the store in the first place.

REPORTER: "A 38 year old man is accused of molesting his 6 year-old niece. During police investigations, there is evidence and other alleged victims are coming out of the wood work. The popular comic "Tales of NAMBLA" and "Lil' Debbie Does Dallas" were found in the suspect's home. Says the comic shop owner that sold the suspect the magazines:"

COMIC BOOK SELLER: "Yeah, this motherfucker was an avid fan of the kiddie porn comics, used to talk to me about how he loved the depiction of fucking the six year old in the Lil Debbie book, and how he found it sexy. Sick fucker"

REPORTER: First question "Why didn't you report him, Mr. Salesclerk?"

CBS: "Freedom of Speech. I didn't know he was actually a pedophile."

Freedom of Speech my ass. There are certain rights you don't have when it comes to speech. You can't yell "Fire" in a crowded theatre, can't joke about having a bomb at the airport, or call 911 as a hoax. You can't condone child fucking. And by depicting sex with a child in a comic book and/or BUYING it, you are condoning child fucking to a bunch of child molestors (who are the only ones besides PCX who would buy the book.).

Besides, would you want to be in the position of that comic book seller/salesclerk? Keep Child Porn out of comics.

Oh please. Okay if there was some mag about "simulated" kiddie porn, perhaps there is something wrong with the people who buy it, but as long as they aren't committing such acts with real children then it shouldn't be anyone's business besides theirs.

We aren't suppose to police thought crimes. Check the internet, people seem interested in a lot of weird fetishes. Sure some are doable and done but some are just fantasies that most people haven't done, can't, or won't, like rape, incest, celebrity, scifi. Would some people commit such acts if possible, maybe. But in the meantime it may not be and they are just fantasying about it.

You can't yell "fire" in a theater because it would cause actual harm if people ran out in a panic. But should you be arrested for thinking about yelling "fire"? Should you be arrested for drawing a scene with someone yelling "fire" in a theater and people getting hurt in the panic? Should you be arrested for stating you wish you could yell "fire" in a theater, but never doing it?

Why keep "simulated" child porn out of comics? Imagine how much more messed up would "Preacher" had been if it had scenes of child abuse instead of implied.(Or funny in some cases.) Just slap a mature reader tag on it.

Can't you handle the freedom?

Just for the record ('cause everyone's gotten this wrong, including myself), it turns out the actual Supreme Court ruling was that you can't falsely yell "Fire!" in a crowded theater.

Yelling "Theater!" in a crowded firehouse on the other hand, will get your ass kicked.
