You killed Billie Mays.

The real reason noone likes Superman is John Byrnes drew and wrote him. Look at Alpha Flight.

Overkill? Ennis is simply showing that the Homelander is rough and careless.

The stewardesses and pilots were probably killed by the hijackers as they were killed in our universe. Helps humble the passengers.

The Deep appears to be black and takes offense to any black stereotyping (see Wiki), so Homelander using "nigger" to insult The Deep, appears to be within context.

So the G-teams aren't exact copy of the X-Men teams, good thing, then we wouldn't hear the end of Ennis' "lack of originality".

Why do you think 2 groups of black people trying to show hate for each other shouldn't be using, "nigger"? To quote an unreliable source, "That I used the word, 'nigger.' But do you know how many black people use that word? He has to hate whole bunch of black people. Ironically, that means he has to hate 90% of black people in the United States." Seems within context.

I lived in Tulsa for a few years, religious old white folk used the phrase, "Jesus wept," alot.

Guess the Seven never seen Laverne & Shirley.

Age of consent in the UK is 16 so Hughie's should be okay with it.

Melting the engines with his heat vision might ignite the fuel in them and blow up the wings.

It's the Brooklyn Bridge, Thoom!!

I asked before if we should chat at the Thoom Comic Forums page, received no answer.

Timmy Thoom has to keep that hypocrisy train running on time.

From what you said about the sudden use of the word nigger, Tim, I felt that you were insinuating that it was a waste of a perfectly good slur and these characters need to call in a black person before they use the word nigger.

BTW, I heard that Garth Ennis is working on a new title, sure to be extremely racially offensive. It's called "Early episodes of Thoom" From the previews, I hope Ennis has his lawyer on speed dial.

I'm up for talking on The Comic Forums- if I remember to.

Yes, but is the kind of language and topics we discuss here permissible on the forums? I don't want to be officially banned from the porch.

You know what I meant. The only thing 'nigger' means to anyone is a slur against black folks, especially a writer like Garth Ennis.
