Jacob's Ladder was a good movie for it's time.
Working in a mine is sometimes the only good paying job in some areas.
So the scientist knows that aliens stuck the guy in a concrete body, right? And she has thoroughly exampled him? So she knows there's no way to give him his real body back and he has no dick. Why are you questioning her uninterest in him?
The Heap predates all.
Steve Gerber's site. I went there looking if he gave a reason for Man-Thing like Sludge, didn't find it. Check out "scripts" and you see he was planning on more Sludge. Try the quiz, I am Man-Thing.
Ultraforce
I miss the Ultraverse, sure the issue were more costly but the stories were way better. Too bad Marvel took it over and homogenized it.
What's with the muck and the sludge and the whatever? Is this what Downcast likes to read?
I saw Jacob's Ladder as part of a Social Studies class. It was pretty good. That was the first time I saw the crazy fast-shaking head effect. That was fuckin' great! I haven't seen it again, but the ending was good too.
Heap and Swamp Thing came out so close to each other that they're practically brothers.
The Heap came out in 1942. Swamp Thing came out 1971.
My fault, Swamp Thing and Man-Thing came out around the same time.
Bad times for Swamp Thing. The music at times is louder than the dialog, which I'm almost sure is good thing. Is Arcane wearing a lab coat under a suit? And Swampy seems a bit NAMBLAish.
I watched that thing when it came out! Did that come out around the same time the Attack of the Killer Tomatoes cartoon came out?
It seems the Swamp Thing Movies, Live Action TV Show and cartoons came out around the same time or after Alan Moore's run on the comic.
Clearly his success with the comic made the character popular enough
to get these projects made. So how come they shows and movies always focused on the lame ass Un-Men and Arcane never on Alan Moore's esoteric stories?
Killer tomatoes came out in 1990 to 1992. I saw that. Swamp Thing was 5 episodes in 1991. I never saw it til now. It were also featured on something very annoying called Chip and Pepper's Cartoon Madness. Makes you want to declare war on Canada.
