Perez is complicated. As his artwork, his writing isn't simple. His War of the Gods story was a bit convolted due to editoral interference. His Wonder Woman run was incredible and as you noted you don't like the Greek gods myths so you were bored. I loved it because it did have Greek myths and it was being truer to the legends than they had been in the past.

Superman's uniform seems not to be for his protection but for his modesty. If you work construction you don't wear dress pants and lace shirts, you wear corduroy jeans and plaid shirts. Wearing regular fabrics while doing the stuff Superman does would be like if you sewed yourself an outfit out of toilet paper and then went out to fight. How long do you think that would last.

Sure he flies, but he lands hard and he does need to be able to grip to the ground when fighting. Runners don't use flipflops in races, basketball players don't play in dress shoes. Superman needs something that'll take a beating. He's not the barefoot hero type.

Wait a second, didn't you complain against editor boxes that made you have to go out and buy another comic for the complete story?

The assumption of Lois putting herself in trouble is the pilot would either choose to do as she said or not.

Actually TV media organizations have been buying print media so they then can have more control on an area's access to media. Doing so means more money.

What's does their opposite powers have to do with them not hanging out? They probably became friends while living in Aunt May's house.

His "super aura" protects his clothes.

No.

If Time Warner or NewsCorp bought the Chicago-Tribune, they wouldn't build a bigger building for the Chicago Tribune, with the title of the newspaper on the building. (Galaxy Corp/Fox should already have TV stations, so again, no need for a new building)

Yeah sure, that's assuming this Superman still has a super-aura, it was a relatively new invention brought in by John Byrnes after the Crisis. Before that his costumes would have to be made from Kryptonian fabrics.

Unless the building that got demolished was insured and there's some sort of tax credit for rebuilding or building commercial buildings in the first place. This being Metropolis I figure there would be some sort of tax incentive, especially if the building was damaged during meta-activities.
